3 Poems

Well My friends blog, and I don't do.. anything. ever. Some of them tell me to write things, some of them tell me to write things for a blog. We'll I'm here to push myself into writing little whatevers and posting them, its slightly more dignifying than doing absolutely nothing. I'm a bad writer. This is my firs post of.... 3 poems. 2 by me and one by a friend. They are untitled, and they are super Rough drafts; enjoy them as much as possible.

This first poem was written about a girl that I know online, and anyone who knows her from the online community I do will know her as "Avaadoree," I recently asked her to "e-date" me, as in start a relationship from long distance, she said yea, pretty much >.>.  Besides her the inspiration was another girl fromt he same online community known there as "EbulSkittle" who pushed me to writing something, I mostly did it to push her to write to. It was written in 10 minutes, off the top of my head...

sometimes when a song swims around
ceaselessly through your thoughts,
occupying your mind's ocean,this sound,
and it wont find its way out. its lost.
but instead of getting on your nerves,
you long to listen to it, not for it to stop.
it floats there as you try to recall the words

your the song that swims through my mind
and ill sing along your name until your mine
-Francisco Covarrubias

Okay when I was trying to find where I had saved the preceeding poem on my computer (I'm very unorganized) I found this trash. It was an original poem I had to turn in for my senior english class in high school last year. It's supposed to be a Sonnet, the syntax is bad, etc. etc. It's just bad. That's okay. It's also supposed to be in Iambic Pentameter, it fails at that too. The inspiration was H P Lovecraft, and this set of MAgic The Gathering Cards (I played years ago) that revolved around summoning a powerful creature card called "The Unspeakable."

its best to let SOME things remain unknown
and certain sights forever left unseen
to not sift through sands other hands have sown
nor peer through the depths with eyes much to keen
certain secrets better off buried
cetain memories better lost with time
secrets men wish they never had carried
memories found madness rather sublime
dont reach through the mists that enshroud man's mind
one cannot find which is unseekable
only that which is darker than man's kind
and his fate,which is unspeakable

under the veil lies the beast, madness formed
mad to be of the forbidden informed

-Francisco Covarrubias

Okay one of the people that tries to make me write and do shit like this the most is my friend the 14  yr. old Lauren Michelle. She is also from this online community (my only true friends since I'm a loser.) and is known there as "LaurenLovesLions." Or as I like to call her "The Big L 3; PHD in Thugonomics" She wrote this off the top of her head as she went, and I liked and saved it, she wants to post stuff on my blog too so you know; here's the first of it. It's simple, it's not profound or anything, but it came from her heart and from shit she is dealing with I guess. enjoy it, I did.

he said she was wrong
she said he was right
he said he couldn't trust her anymore
she said he shouldn't
he said that she didn't matter anymore
she said she never did
he said good night
she said good bye
he said good morning
she said nothing
-Lauren Michelle

there you go, 3 simple, short, and not very good poems. I'll update this with whatever, whenever, or not at all. Depends who pushses me and how hard.
